11 Things You Can Do Here
1 Comment publicly on something I’ve written. Just look for the “Leave a reply” form at the very bottom of each entry. Visitor feedback is a part of what makes blogs exciting. Join the conversation!
2 Contact me privately with comments or questions. If you don’t want to comment publicly on an entry or just have something else you want to say or ask me one-to-one, you can click on “Contact Me” in the column to the right and I’ll get back to you by email as soon as I can.
3 Email something I’ve written to a friend. Just look for the “Email this” option at the bottom of each entry.
4 Submit something I’ve written to “Digg.” Click on the “Digg This” option at the bottom of each entry to automatically submit it to Digg. Digg is an increasingly popular member-contributed and ranked content aggregator (a site that pulls lots of different information from different sources into one place). If someone else has already submitted it, your click adds another “vote” to it, raising it in the rankings. Yes, it does sound a bit like a popularity contest, but the cool thing about Digg is that you can see what interests other readers the most. Learn more about Digg.
5 Add to Yahoo! Google, Technorati or Reddit. Click on one of the little icons at the bottom of the column to the right to add my blog to your personalized Yahoo! or Google home page or Technorati favorites listing. Learn more about Technorati. Reddit is a personalized source of what’s new on the Web you can submit to and vote at, similiar to Digg (above), except that it will eventually generate recommendations for you based on your history. To submit this blog to Reddit, just click on the button with the little cartoon head and arrows, right above the Technorati button at the bottom of the column to the right. Learn more about Reddit.
6 Save to your del.icio.us page. Click on the “Save to del.icio.us” option at the bottom of each entry to add something I’ve written to your personalized del.icio.us page. Learn more about del.icio.us.
7 Go to one of my full sites. Jump straight to my professional site … or my personal site.
8 Get access to a private page if you’re a client or Fleishman-Hillard colleague. If you an FHer or a client to whom I’ve provided a login and password, jump to the password-protected guest access page in my site to access presentations or a wide range of proprietary resources.
9 Subscribe. Click on that little square orange icon at the upper right to subscribe to an RSS feed or click on the link below it to receive new posts directly in your email. Learn more about RSS.
10 Buy a THINK INSIDE THE BOX logo item. Just click on the “Like the Blog? Get the Mug!” link at the upper right to visit my CafePress store.
